Mental Health and Well-being
As part of our mental health and well-being work we have used the 'Bounce - Understanding Emotions' programme. This is a resilience framework which enables children to recognise emotions and supports them in managing responses to emotions. We have linked this framework to our existing emotional registers and feelings charts across school, creating a common language to be used in all classes and at home.
Don't forget to put this on your fridge/wall to use at home (you will have received one in your transition pack).
Mindful Moments with our Well-Being Champions
At Brimrod, we participate in a daily mindfulness session. We understand the importance of learning to how to relax and self-soothe. This is a brilliant skill to learn, so early in our lives. We have written and recorded our very own mini meditations! Click the links below to try one…
As a school we take the mental heath and wellbeing of our children and families very seriously. Accessing support when it is needed can make a real difference in easing the stresses and strains we are all experiencing. It is important to look after each other but also ourselves. The links below will take you to some of the help available.
If you need anything please remember to speak to someone at school, we will always do our best to help. All staff emails can be found on the staff page. You can also call the office on 01706 647146.
