Return to school - 8th March 202124 February 2021 (by admin) |
Dear parents/carers,
As you will be aware, the Prime Minister announced last night that all children will return to school on Monday 8th March 2021. This is statutory and normal rules will apply regarding absence and potential fines if children do not attend.
I personally cannot wait to see you all and get things back to something that's a bit more normal. You have been missed!!
All measures that were put in place during the Autumn term such as increased cleaning, bubbles and staggered starts and finishes will still be in place when we return. Children will continue to enter and leave the building through the same doors and gates as before Christmas. (Please see the attachment below for times and gates.)
Children will still need to bring their own water bottle to stay in school and grab bags will continue to be served for lunch until Easter. (Due to lunchtime staffing shortages)
Until the 8th March, children are expected to continue to complete the work set for them online and send their work back to the teachers to look at. Once they return to school children will continue to use the online platforms Mymaths, Bug club and Spelling shed for their weekly homework. Teachers will continue to make calls to speak to children and parents over the next two weeks.
If you have any questions, please ask your child's teacher when they contact you.
I can't wait to see everyone soon.
Take care
Mrs. L Thompson
