Brimrod Buddies
Brimrod Buddies play an important role in helping to create a positive, friendly, and safe environment during break and lunchtime. Their job is to set a good example for others by showing kindness, respect, and good behaviour on the playground.
Brimrod Buddies are always ready to offer emotional support to anyone who may be feeling sad, lonely, or upset. They help to include others in games, encourage everyone to play fairly, and make sure no one is left out. They act as a buddy to all, helping children to get along and enjoy their time outside.
Every pupil has the opportunity to become a Brimrod Buddy during their time in Key Stage 2. This begins with Year 6 pupils taking on the role in the autumn term, followed by Year 5 in the spring term, and Year 4 in the summer term. This helps to build confidence, responsibility, and leadership skills while making our school a more caring place for everyone.
